Hey I guys, I know there are quite a few troll players in the store these days, so I thought it would make sense to have a Trollbloods tactics discussion page.
lets start with this, answer these questions and maybe we can all help out our kin.
1. What's working well for you lately? Maybe you are having a lot of success with a particular list or model, let us know.
2. What are you struggling with? Maybe we can find a way to beat whatever is giving your army problems.
3. What models/units are you having issue with? Hopefully we can suggest how to use them.

So for me.
1. pBorka is working really well for me lately, I basically take a full melee list with him and cast MOSHPIT which gives everything knockdown. This is amazing with Fennblades, and anything else with reach really.
2. I sometimes have issues with the cryx bane spam, all those models with weapon master, ouch. Hoping the Bomber and Impaler combo helps.
3. Highwaymen, I always struggle getting these guys to work well. The combined Ranged Attack is nice, but there is just too many medium bases to ever get a decent number of them in range and in line.

I've been really impressed with Fennblades recently, do you think 2 units with mosh-pit on the go and there mini-feat would be completely devastating to most armies.
Also out of interest, does mosh-pit ( from previous turn)expire before there vengeance attacks? That could open up a whole new world of tactical opportunity.

I don't know about two units, I don't think they hit hard enough on their own to make two units worthwhile. If I can find a reliable damage buff for them, then they would be ridiculously good. Although I think the Fennblades Kithkar would do nicely, allows them to charge through each other and does a lot more damage than a normal fennblade.
Only up keeps affect their vengeance, MOSHPIT and other spells wear off before vengeance happens.

Popular builds are:
Miserable Meat Mountain, featuring Epic Grissel and 2 units of Warders as a base.
Elemental Evolution, Calandra theme list using only light elemental trolls.
Runes of War, Doomshaper them list featuring discounted Runeshapers.

Not sure off the top of my head. Will post it up here later.
But I know it's friendly models in control area get knockdown on melee.
